Social Security 2009

2010 is an election year for 1/3 of the senate and 1/2 of the house of representatives. It would be nice if congress got the message; the voting taxpayers are in charge now.

Social Security 2009

LET US SHOW OUR LEADERS IN WASHINGTON "PEOPLE POWER" AND THE POWER OF THE INTERNET. PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT!

KEEP IT GOING!!!!

Propose this in 2009:

START A BILL TO PLACE ALL POLITICIANS ON SOCIAL SECURITY

SOCIAL SECURITY:

(This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.)

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.

Our Senators and Congresspersons do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congress person has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.
Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments. ......

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives.
This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives.

Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00, ZIP!! NADA!!! ZILCH!!!

This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds;

"OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"!

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer ), We can expect to get an average of
$1,000 per month after retirement.

Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits!

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.

That change would be to Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen... Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us

Then sit back.....

And see how fast they would fix it!

If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

How many people can YOU send this to?

Better yet......

How many people WILL you send this to?

P.S. The same goes for their healthplan

Moral Discussions in Politics!

On Backroads of Montana episode 110 “wool and Wind” which aired Saturday, September 26th at 5:30 pm on Montana PBS, an interesting issue was noted that was not an intended issue of the shows subject matter, an issue that has the potential of severely damaging the U.S. Economy. The problem is widespread in many parts of our nation, especially the southern portions of our country. I was not surprised to discover that we see this occurring in Montana.

The problem: The hiring of foreign workers to work American jobs. In the case of the show, sheep farmers near Absarokee, Montana with about 1000 head of sheep hire two Peruvian sheep Shearer’s. They are provided room, board, and a wage. On the surface this may not seem like such a problem, especially since the U.S. Government states these workers do jobs that U.S. Citizens refuse to do. However, as noted on Backroads of Montana “Wool and Wind” these laborers work in the U.S. for three years, (their workers visa is for three years.) go back home to their country for a while then return to the U.S. on a new workers visa. While working in the U.S. they have no expenses per se therefore send the majority of their earnings to their families in Peru.

The end result of foreign labor on U.S. soil is that American labor looses jobs, the American economy looses a vital element of economic growth; the re-circulation of money in our economy, a potential drain on Americas struggling health care system, greater potential for terrorism and hostile insurgency, potential for entrance into the U.S. of disease, and etc…

The excuse, by the U.S. Government for allowing this, is that only foreigners will do this work. The truth is that businesses often pay sub-minimum wages, therefore can only hire illegal immigrants or temporary workers on workers visas. If legal minimum wages were paid for these jobs, there would be many takers, especially in economic times such as current, where the U.S. is seeing unemployment higher than in decades, (9.8% for September, 2009, with a real rate near 17%) and when we are about to see so many who have used up all their unemployment benefits, end with no income. It is predicted by many economists that another 3 to 4 million homeowners in the U.S. over the next 6 to 12 months will be facing foreclosure. If people have jobs they at least have a fighting chance to keep their homes.

This is only one example of how our government is failing to consider the best interest of the overall population or our country – the moral question of what is best! What we see and will continue to see until the people stand up and say “No More!” is a blatant disregard for the people and their thoughts on what is best and moral for our country. Do any of you feel your thoughts and opinions have been heard on Health Care Reform? Do you feel you’ve been told enough to give intellectual input on Health Care Reform? Did you know that on October 12th an insurance lobbying group issued a dire warning: that in ten years, the average family could pay 4,000 dollars more than originally projected to reform health care. What about Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Korea, etc…? Do you feel as if our President and Congress really care about what I/you/we feel when they seem to be pushing bills through too quickly for the people to understand the impact?

I for one feel a strong discomfort, more than ever, with our government. I remember when as a child in the 60’s most folks had a certain lifestyle comfort level not seen today. The average middle class family was able to buy a home, feed the children, and enjoy life a little on a single paycheck. There was a certain degree of job security, major medical policies were somewhat cost effective for the average family, and children were well attended to by mom because she usually didn’t have to work to make ends meet. With all the government spending resulting in the increase of our national deficit, I see serious problems with inflation a year or two down the line, as well as increases in taxation for the average middle class American.

I can’t solely blame the politicians, for it is the people who elect them, they will do what is in their best interest if we don’t keep them in check. If we the people are complacent in choosing our leaders, then not only will we suffer, but our children and their children are in for a very rough ride.

The moral discussion needs to return in politics!

Michael Richards Court Defense

WHITE" Pride

This is great. I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is.....
Proud to be White

Michael Richards makes his point...............
Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point.

This was his speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points...

* Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.

* And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... and that's OK..

* But when I call you, ("N" word edited out "See what I mean?"), Kike, Towel head, Sand-("N" word edited out "See what I mean?"), Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.

* You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you.... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

* You have the United ("N" word edited out "See what I mean?") College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.

* You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.

* You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

* You have the NAACP. You have BET.... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

* If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.

* If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.

* We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??

* A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

* If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists..

* There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US . Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.

* In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists..

* You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

* You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist..

* I am proud... But you call me a racist.

* Why is it that only whites can be racists??

BE PROUD TO BE WHITE!

It's not a crime YET... but getting very close!

Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize?

This is an interesting and suprising event as many have said! If you look at the list of most past recipients, one commonality should be observed - Most DEDICATED the majority of their lives to peace, and sometimes gave their lives for peace. The list is full of people who have proved - WITH TIME - to be great.

One person noted on the CBS blog that Obama is great and deserves it because he is the first black American president. Well there are many firsts that haven't received a Nobel Prize for being first! Did President Kennedy receive a Nobel Prize for being the first Irish/Catholic President? Maybe he should have received two!

So far all I've seen is alot of talk and rhetoric from Obama. We are still engaged in Iraq - When in his campaign promised that he would get us out! He has escalated our presence in Afganistan and is considering an even greater escalation in the near future - Against the wishes of the majority of the American people. Obama (Though agreeing to talks) has addressed Iran in a way that could result in greater conflict. I feel he has handled Iran correctly, but does this deserve a peace prize.

Also on the CBS blog a blogger "Mikeus Maximus" ; We all know Obama is committed to personal and professional growth. He is a very motivated man as "Mikeus Maximus" (a blogger on the CBS blog disclosed by entertaining us with the Obama bio. I admire ANY man for this. Not because he's black, white or anything else, but because he is a person the goes forward with what he wants and believes no matter what obsticals exist.

If the Nobel Committee would have granted this for his achievements after four or eight years in office - assuming substantial progress in world peace were achieved by Obama's efforts - then I would have no problem. But it looks as if this is a move by the Nobel Committee to manipulate the tuff dicisions that Obama must make. If this is the case then I have lost all my admiration for the Nobel Committee and for the Peace Prize itself.

Obama stated; "I do not deserve this prize"...This is a "call to action!" In my opinion a call to action by the manipulators on the NOBEL COMMITTEE.

And I agree with Obama - He DOES NOT YET - deserve this prize!

President Barak Obama's Plan

After watching and contemplating NoBama's speech on Wednesday - I can only conclude that he has NO IDEA what the people of this country NEED, and he has no idea what he is doing.

He clearly DID NOT address the true concerns of the people. The propasals he addressed concerning private insurance could only increase the cost of private insurance unless he plans to dictate allowable profit margins and executive bonuses for the insurance industry.

I will continue with this later!

The REAL solution is one of two options:

1.) Take the best elements of socialized medicine in other countries and implement them isn the U.S. - Which of course is not a popular option and would mean an increase in taxes.

2.) Regulate the Insurance companies, Drug Companies, and Medical professionals by putting caps on their pricing and mandating equal services to all regardless of income.

Immigration; where do we go next?

The President and our legislators in Washington should finally see that what they envision as “Immigration Reform” is not what the “Citizens” of the United States demand! But do they see this? It would appear that they do not. It would appear that they are completely ignorant to the desires of the citizens and to the consequences associated with allowing the current immigration processes to remain status quo.

Citizens are sick and tired of the problems created by our complacent and incompetent officials in Washington. This goes beyond Illegal Immigration and Amnesty. It’s time that we systematically look at what must be done to fulfill the citizens wishes. This is also an issue about reckless importing of goods from other countries that pose serious threats to our health and economy!

Our dependency on cheap labor, cheap product, and cheap food will inevitably result with the end of a society that our forefathers fought hard to create, and our citizens have fought hard, and died for, to defend. We have become spoiled – dependant on others to labor for our fruits. If Washington blatantly chooses to ignore the wishes of the people, then the people will have no choice but to take matters into their own hands!

This is a basic outline of what need to be accomplished, for OUR nation to survive:

1) A 3 year mandatory minimum prison sentence and $50,000 fine, for each occurrence; hiring of, engaging for day labor and/or domestic help of, renting to, providing health care to, etc. Illegal immigrants (SEVERE Penalties for ANYONE caught aiding or abetting an illegal. Prison is the only answer!)

2) Deny citizenship to any person born of an illegal alien after 1986. (Unless they can prove their worth to the U.S.!) Many illegals enter the U.S. for the sole purpose of having the children born here (Anchor Babies). Additionally, one of the big arguments FOR AMNESTY is; if we deport the illegals - What do we do with the kids?

3) We should have a maximum immigrant entry of a specific number. (Maybe 60,000 to 120,000 per year!)

4) The entries should be country specific: (i.e. 2000 from Russia, 2000 from England, 2000 from Mexico, etc.) Whatever numbers we incorporate, we need to stick to our guns.

5) Pass the law that English is the national language of the United States.

6) Immigrants should have a basic command of English before entering the U.S. then is required to be fluent in reading and writing in 2 years - otherwise they are sent back!

7) Immigrant applicants must prove that they bring a skill, craft, education, or intellectual asset to our country, for which we have a current and immediate need. (Not basic and cheap labor!)

8) Immigrant applicants must have a five-year plan towards citizenship, with annual progress reviews. (This could be incorporated into our Community College systems.)

9) Immigrants must have succeeded in obtaining citizenship within those five years - otherwise they're sent back!

10) Any non-violent crime (Misdemeanor, Gross Misdemeanor or Felony) committed, prior to obtaining citizenship, would result in immediate deportation! Any violent crime would result in deportation after serving their prison sentence.

11) Secure our borders and coastlines via fences, electronic surveillance, buffer zones, and aerial surveillance. Use US Border Patrol, National Guard, and Military resources to man and patrol the borders. (If we look at history - I think we'll find that a fence never works unless the area protected has a greater force than the aggressor - The fence slows them, so we can catch them!)

12) Draw back from importing from other countries unless U.S. Inspectors can assure us, through on site inspections, that the food and goods being imported are safe, and of sufficient quality. (Allowing U.S. Companies to manufacture outside our country is costing citizens jobs and encouraging the sale of inferior products to consumers. Importing from foreign countries is doing the same and causing competition for those companies that hold true to the American ideologies, creating a risk to our security by imposing strategic dependency on current and/or future enemies, and placing foreign countries in a position wherein they can systematically poison our food supply and damage our economy!)

13) Provide FULL APPROPRIATIONS, and commit required MANPOWER to achieve and sustain these goals!

14) We should be setting higher standards for ourselves for global warming, pollution, fossil fuel consumption, etc. than any other country. (We should be setting the world standard.) We should refuse to trade or conduct business with any country that refuses to meet our standards. We should be a leader THE in Solar, Wind, and Nuclear Energy generation.

The BASICS are outlined here. It will be a long, hard, and complex struggle to save our nation! Is our nation worth the hard work and sweat which will be required to preserve what has already cost much? Or do we choose to give it all away without a battle? If we choose to fight – our choices at the voting polls are where the fight begins. From national issues such as immigration, environment, and public health to the local issues such as who will best lead our community towards economic revitalization and who can best lead our community out of the amphibole asbestos dilemma!
